How to look after new sneakers?
HOW TO CARE FOR NEW SHOES AND EXTEND THEIR LIFE SPAN?
Proper care of new sneakers not only maintains their appearance, but also prolongs their life.
Here are tips on how to treat your new sneakers:
Choice of sneakers: Different brands may have different size standards. We recommend that you look at the specific information found in the size charts. Remember that the right size is the key to optimal comfort and can also contribute noticeably to the life of your sneakers.
Protection against moisture: Try to avoid wearing new sneakers in rainy weather or mud. Moisture can damage the materials and cause scuffs. If they are exposed to moisture, let them dry at room temperature. Avoid using heat sources such as radiators or dryers.
Storing in the right enviroment: Uchovávejte své tenisky na suchém a chladném místě. Vyhněte se přímému slunečnímu záření, které může způsobit vyblednutí.
Cleaning: Clean your sneakers regularly to remove dust and dirt. Avoid washing sneakers, which can cause cracking and colour fading.
TIP: Stain protection: Apply a protective sneaker spray or impregnator to help protect the material from stains and water.
Sneakers rotation: On our e-shop you will find primarily collectible shoes. Constantly wearing one pair of sneakers will cause faster wear and tear. Rotate them with other pairs to extend their life.
Caution when putting on and taking off shoes: Wear your new trainers with care to minimise the risk of scuffs or deformities. It's definitely not advisable to put on and take off lace-up sneakers without untying the laces - after a while, the parts may start to tear as you move around. We recommend using a shoehorn every time you put them on! It is not advisable to wear shoes without socks.
Avoid sharp objects: Take care to avoid sharp objects that could damage the sole or upper material.
Careful on different surfaces: Be careful where you walk. Rough surfaces and sharp objects can cause damage to sneakers.
Following these simple steps will help you keep your sneakers in perfect condition. Remember that each model of sneaker may require specific care depending on the material.
Conditions of complaint: In order to successfully claim the shoes, you must provide proof of purchase, ideally in the form of an invoice that you have received by email. In order to process a claim, you must present the complete footwear (including the original box) in a clean condition, free of dirt, and meeting hygiene standards. The claim must be accompanied by a written statement of the current condition of the claimed footwear, describing the defects found. This statement is necessary to document the seller's claim.
What is covered by the claim? Manufacturing defects or any contradiction with the purchase contract that arises during the defective performance in terms of limiting or preventing further use of the goods. This defect is defined as a deficiency in the goods which does not originate from normal wear and tear caused by standard use.
Items that have been deliberately or unintentionally damaged due to neglect of basic maintenance rules, in accordance with the recommended care and purpose of the goods specified in this document, are not defective.
What is not covered by the claim? Aesthetic and functional changes to the goods and their parts resulting from normal wear and tear caused by standard use, intentional or unintentional damage, and neglect of basic maintenance rules are not grounds for complaint. Nor can the goods be claimed for defects which are not reported immediately after they have been discovered.
Wear and tear caused by improper selection, use and cleaning , and damage to goods due to exposure to aggressive substances are factors not covered by the claims procedure
These are collector's shoes and therefore their price does not necessarily reflect their higher durability.
It is important to take these aspects into account when assessing the condition and quality of goods.
